Pub 110: The Snaffle Bit

The snaffle bit (top tier pub name) forms one third of the infamous teuchter triangle in finnieston, alongside the islay inn and park bar.

Admittedly, it is probably the weakest of the bunch as the others feel a bit more authentically islandy. To use the words of the Big Yin, the regulars in the other two genuinely look a bit more "windswept and interesting". Hence we ended up getting the best chat of the night from a german shepherd.

And while I'd rather have had a photo with the dog when it didn't look as though it was spewing up its breakfast, I think it still presents the correct vibe for this pub. Cosy, but if you hang around long enough it might get a bit messy.
