Pub 133: The Quaich

Rocked up to the quaich yesterday in a whirlwind of emotions. After quickly ditching a certain 3-1 loss just shy of full time, we darted south and managed to smuggle ourselves and (many) cans into pollok to watch them score 10 goals against the worst team I think I've ever seen. Didn't really know what to think or what to do. To the quaich we went.

And I really don't know how to start on this madcap beer-hole. It had the inimitable feel of a scary boozer on first appearance, flat roof, hard geezers kicking about, and more than a whiff of cheap voddy. You might say I was quaich-ing in my boots.

But like many others on our travels, it all turned out absolutely fine. Quirky, quaint, and even a tiny bit rock and roll. Regarding the clientele, with rivaldo at the bar and peter lovenkrands' nephew in the beer garden, we really couldn't complain.
