Really, truly nice to see Glasgow finally show some recognition for the planet's greatest living actor and entertainment megastar. Dwayne may not be here to celebrate, but you can just feel the spirit of WWF course through you as his specialty lager makes it way down your neck pipes. And like any good wrestlemania, you can be sure to see a few of the locals get thrown over the bar like it's the top belt.

On my one visit, we decided to steer clear of the shawn michaels and dominic toretto types to focus on a good old fashioned natter instead.

Flat roof, pool table and £4 pints (hyndland mind), this presents a very sensible alternative if you're in the mood for a scrap and a good night, but the purse-strings are feeling a little tight.
