Pub 60: The Citizen

I've made some pretty dodgy calls on fashion over the years, and I definitely don't think pairing a Hawaiian shirt with a black denim jacket is ever one I'm likely to repeat. Think hair is also at like 8 on the bigness scale here too

Regardless, neither of these wacky characters realistically should have been admitted to an establishment like the citizen on this particular occasion. I remember this being at the end of a pretty lengthy pub crawl a few years ago and we decided we needed one final bev to call a halt on the night. I'm not sure what drew us to the citizen but I'm confident it was the work of supernatural guidance, like following the north star as a weary drunkard. For this was the first unpasteurised tennents I'd tasted and nothing was to ever be the same again.
