Pub 50: Sloan's It's hard to believe that we've finally reached the almighty total of 50 pubs together. Almost a year of weekly boozing and I feel like we are all somewhat better off for it. At this rate, however, I think the task of completing them all could really be quite difficult. I'm picturing

It's hard to believe that we've finally reached the almighty total of 50 pubs together. Almost a year of weekly boozing and I feel like we are all somewhat better off for it.

At this rate, however, I think the task of completing them all could really be quite difficult. I'm picturing 10 years time from now, and my son is begging me to play a game of swing ball with him in the back garden but, politely, I have to decline as I still have to tick off the newest brewdog in the up and coming area of *Royston*. I'm sure it will be good character building for him anyway.

SLOANS!

Organised a big group for the friday night ceilidh and it duly delivered. Good band, some bizarre dances which I don't think are completely authentic (looking at you, helicopter), and a lovely big ballroom. The atmosphere and history of the place shines through and definitely worth a visit for a dance and a dram.
