Pub 32: The Scotia
Maybe a bit unfair to paint the scotia with this brush right from the off, but as soon as I think of it I just get the most unbearable stench of fish. Walked past it every day for a year on the way to uni and because it's right nextdoor to the fresh market the honk from it was just ridiculous.
Anyway, finally made it inside this year and I am glad to confirm it doesn't smell like the north atlantic when you're inside. It actually smells like beer which is much better. You can also tell it's about a thousand years old from the furnishings and the clientele aren't much younger in all honesty.
Still good fun though, will bevvy here again.
