Pub 79: The Press Bar

I actually adore when people just decide that pubs are dog-friendly without any indication or even asking.

"I have a dog, he's coming with me for a few jars, and there is absolutely nothing you can say or do to stop me". Really great stuff.

The press bar is a proper old fashioned place and, with the former herald newspaper offices above, used to be where all the hotshot journos of the 80s and 90s would come to shoot the shit about the latest gangland murders and shooting sprees.

Unfortunately, the only murder here was the pints. The tennents was quite stale and we shot off after just one round.
