I don't know what relationship the owners of the admiral and the woods had, but when the former went down with the ship, he should have taken the name with him.

The admiral was a far superior boozer and the cosy booths and macaroni cheese hugged you like a warm blanket. The woods is big, soulless and would be better suited as a tk maxx or greggs outlet store.

When the big development of student flats opens in the admirals place, I will shed a single tear in the name of corporate greed.
