Pub 124: Bar Home

Two weeks since the last post, as last week I was simply too hungover to write anything meaningful. It wasn't even the kind of pulsing headache, jake shakes nightmare that you'd come to expect. Just a pure and simple lack of ability to get anything done. Sunday evening, I had two tasks to complete: make dinner and write a pub post. Unfortunately, I just physically could not make my brain turn those thoughts into actions. Ended up eating a pot noodle and watched 3 episodes of the thick of it instead.

No hangover today so here we are, and we're talking about bar home. We were in for halloween last year and were promised a party and a piss up. There was really no party, but even in the most barren circumstances we'll always manage a piss up.

Bar home really just isn't the one, though. It looks a bit like disneyland inside and the prices are fairytale too. £7 for a neck oil is completely criminal, and so is the fact that they scrapped the prize for best costume because there were only about 20 people in the whole pub. Thankfully, my investment in the banana wasn't wasted as I was able to use it in a very poorly supported halloween parkrun the next morning.
