Pub 104: The Old Schoolhouse

With the closure of the original stand last week - good night and god bless - the holy trinity of woodlands boozing has been smashed to pieces. Everyone knows that you get a few jars in the sun at the old schoolhouse, get in the stand queue nice and prompt, then top it all off with some nonsense chatter over pints of murphys at the doublet.

To restore equity and balance in the west end, someone needs to buy up the stand pronto. It's the best venue in the world and if it goes to ruin I'll cry again.

Maybe this isn't giving the old schoolhouse enough credit in it's own right. It's a busy old boozer, pretty cheap, and good beer gardens are hard to come by in the west end. It should come as no surprise to know that I'd take this over the record factory garden every day of the week.

Side point, crabbies in a glass of ice, with a slice of lime and a single shot of jameson. magnifico. It's like a scottish spritz.
