Pub 27: The Belle

Don't think I've ever encountered such chaotic characters in the space of one pint, in one place, as I did here. One visit, one schofferhoffer, and 2 absolute oddball locals.

Had met the guy in the pic about 5 minutes prior, and he'd explained how he was a geography teacher but lived in a flat above the pub and had no pals. On the short sample of his character we received, it was easy enough to see why. He gets some points for looking a bit like Dave grohl though, so at least there's that.

He'd also been chatting away to an american guy at the bar who explained he was an up-and-coming comedian with a slot next week at the stand. The illusion fully fell away when he said he'd just done a gig at a 'big venue in Hamilton called the junkyard'. No fooling me mate.

Will definitely be back.
