Pub 128: Malo

I think that anyone who knows almost anything about me, probably wouldn't mark me down as the kind of character who frequents posh wine bars. And they'd be right. Typically, it's smelly old boozers where you wade through puddles in the toilets and need biceps to pry your pint from the sticky wooden bar.

But when big mitch chooses malo, described on its website as a 'Wine and Negroni Bar' for his birthday night, you know I'll do my best. It does looks a bit like a kitchen showroom that IKEA would design for yuppies, but that's perfectly fine with me.

And, after all, it turns out you can still sink 4 sangioveses, talk pish, reminisce, and still end up with a chippy supper. So who knows, maybe it's the way :)
