Pub 20: King Tut's Wah Wah Hut

I'm counting it as a pub. Please do not argue this fact. Ultimately, it's a normal boozer, but with a converted loft and Hunter S. Thompson quotes in the pissers.

Regardless, I was quite surprised by how far I had to go back in the collection to dig out some tuts pics. The place feels like a bit of a second home, but it wasn't till the Summer Nights run in 2019 that I got quite cosy in here.

Gallus, Joesef, Magic Gang, Swim School had all been and gone, but it was the lowly Shredd who left the longest impression for sure.

Armed to the teeth with youthful confidence, and aided by a few pints of Tuts lager, I duly threw Mitch under the bus, claiming he was a journalist writing an article on the band and wanted to interview. They let us question them for 5 mins after the gig but fully sussed us as complete chancers after 2.

Anyways, they were very lovely and let me live out my cringe dream of jumping about the stage with an SG.
