Pub 42: Blue Dog

Decided to mix it up a little a couple weeks back and swung into the blue dog. Nestled away in a little recess behind it's noisy neighbour (society rooms), it feels quite hidden and almost a little bit prohibition era. Would give an extra mark if they put a portly gentleman with a bowler hat on the door though.

Walked in feeling like holden caulfield and was excited to hear some silky piano noises in my ear holes but the manager told us that the man on the keys had just packed up for the night. Aw naw. Ended up with a dodgy DJ and getting stuck with some off-brand electronic wobble.

Regardless, I love the overlook hotel vibes and it was a great place to sip a whisky ginger. Would make a nice date night, especially as there's a quieter basement bit.
